Soccer Recap: Pendleton Heights Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 2-2 at halftime, Pendleton Heights was not quite Lawrence Central's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 5-4. Pendleton Heights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They hit Lawrence Central with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ivan Landaverde, Aiden Boys, Sawyer Lewellen, and Mason MacEwen.

Pendleton Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lawrence Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Pendleton Heights has already played their next match, a 5-0 win against Muncie Burris on the 25th. As for Lawrence Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on the 23rd.
