Poston Butte is a perfect 6-0 against ALA - Queen Creek since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. ALA - Queen Creek took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Poston Butte, who comes in off a win.
While Poston Butte's win against Coconino wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Broncos narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Broncos have posted since March 11th.

Damian Serrano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits. Poston Butte is 2-1 when Serrano allows one or fewer earned runs, but 5-12 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Matthew Brizuela was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Isael Aguilera, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Meanwhile, ALA - Queen Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 7-4 to Flagstaff.
Brasser Crumpton was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Juan Pablo Altamirano was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
The victory made it two in a row for Poston Butte and bumps their season record up to 7-13. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for ALA - Queen Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 18-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Poston Butte has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like ALA - Queen Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Poston Butte took their victory against ALA - Queen Creek in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-2 score. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
