Basketball Recap: Burnsville Takes a Loss

Burnsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Farmington Tigers and fell 68-29. While losing is never fun, the Blaze can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Tigers are ranked 59th).

Burnsville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Farmington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Burnsville will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Michael-Albertville at 7:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Farmington, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Farmington Tigers take on the Eagan Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
