Volleyball Recap: Western Falls to Valley in First Game of Season

Western had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Valley Vikings. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The win got Valley back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Western will square off against Shawnee at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jeffersontown at 6:30 p.m.
