Volleyball Recap: Syracuse's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Syracuse had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Arlington Eagles. The Rockets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14, 25-18.

Tatumn Walters paced Syracuse's offense, picking up 17 kills. Walters got some help from Ava Mohr and her 34 assists. Bridget Donovan controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Despite the loss, Arlington still got an impressive performance from Leah Franzluebbers, who had 12 digs. Franzluebbers is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Rylie Kyllo also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Syracuse now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Arlington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.

Syracuse has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Louisville on the 23rd. As for Arlington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Winnebago on the 27th.
