Basketball Recap: Carrizozo Comes Up Short

They came up short against the Hondo Valley Eagles, falling 45-21. The Grizzlies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.

Carrizozo's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Hondo Valley, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Carrizozo has already played their next contest, a 71-7 defeat against Mountainair on the 19th. As for Hondo Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Corona/Vaughn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Corona/Vaughn will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Hondo Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
