Basketball Recap: Columbus Homeschool Piles Up the Points Against Living Water Homeschool

On Friday, the Columbus HomeSchool Hawks took their match with ease, bagging a 53-16 victory over the Living Water Homeschool Marlins. That looming 53-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hawks yet this season.

Lauren Barnes was a one-woman wrecking crew for Columbus HomeSchool as she almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Perkins, who posted 12 points.

Columbus HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points per game. As for Living Water Homeschool, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Columbus HomeSchool will challenge Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Living Water Homeschool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
