Football Recap: Marysville Monarchs vs. Perrysburg Yellow Jackets
Marysville fell victim to Perrysburg and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 37-0 loss at the hands of the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets. The Monarchs just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row dating back to last season.

A big part of the win came down to the chemistry between Josh Takats and his top target Dominick Woods. Takats threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns while Woods picked up 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Woods got the majority of those yards when he pulled down a pass and and took off for a gain of80 yards. A healthy portion of that aerial production (97 yards to be exact) also went to Tivan Bennett.
Marysville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Perrysburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marysville will be defending their home-field for the first timethey go up against Lancaster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Perrysburg, they will welcome Ross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
