Football Recap: Haltom Falls Despite Big Games from Vudrico Roberson and Nathaniel Golatt + How To Watch

Haltom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 28-24 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boswell Pioneers. The Buffalos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Nathaniel Golatt and Vudrico Roberson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Golatt rushed for 88 yards and one score, while Roberson gained 152 total yards. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 80 yards.

Haltom's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Boswell, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Haltom will challenge Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Buffalos' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Boswell, they will face off against Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
