Volleyball Game Preview: Arrupe Jesuit Generals vs. St. Mary's Academy Wildcats + How To Watch

The Arrupe Jesuit Generals will head out on the road to face off against the St. Mary's Academy Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Arrupe Jesuit managed to slip by Bennett the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Generals came up short against the Tigers on Saturday, falling 3-0. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's Academy came up short against Stargate School on Thursday and fell 3-1.

St. Mary's Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-13, 25-15, 25-11.

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Arrupe Jesuit might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from St. Mary's Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Generals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
