St. Bernard came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Ferndale Wildcats with a sharp 12-2 victory. Considering the Crusaders have won six contests by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Bernard's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ferndale, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
