Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, St. Edward's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 34-0 loss at the hands of St. Charles North.

Timothy Christian was dealt a bruising 59-6 defeat at the hands of St. Edward in their previous meeting back in August. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Trojans were down 53-6.
