Baseball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-8 to the Westwood Redhawks.

Alex Cannon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Adrian Howard, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Westwood, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Columbia is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Keenan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Westwood will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on March 17th.
