Football Game Recap: Red Bank vs. Sweetwater

Red Bank put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Sweetwater 59-9. That's another feather in the cap for Red Bank, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Red Bank's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 45 first-half points. Sweetwater countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 45-6 going into the half. The Red Bank defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. The victory bumped Red Bank's record up to 5-0. The defeat dropped Sweetwater's record to 1-5.

Next week Red Bank take on Walker Valley at 7:30 PM. Red Bank are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Walker Valley are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses. Sweetwater will be playing at home against Polk County at at 7:30 PM. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
