Softball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Takes a Loss

Archbishop Carroll fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Haverford on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Fords by a score of 6-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Fords: they've now lost five in a row.

Archbishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Haverford, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Coincidentally, Archbishop Carroll and Haverford will both be playing Conestoga the next time they take the field. Archbishop Carroll will head out to face Conestoga at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, while Haverford will host them at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
