Soccer Game Preview: Lake Zurich vs. Barrington + Official Tickets

The Lake Zurich Bears will venture away from home to face off against the Barrington Fillies/Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Zurich's last six matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lake Zurich is headed into Tuesday's contest following a draw, the team's first since September 9. They and Carmel finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Barrington's matchup on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against Conant as they made off with a 4-1 win. Given Barrington's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Conant are ranked 92nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

With that draw, Lake Zurich's record moves to 8-9-2. As for Barrington, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4-4.
