Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Northside Christian Academy

Northside Christian Academy extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Cade McNeill. The Northside Christian Academy Crusaders walked away with a 72-62 victory over the Southside Christian Sabres on Tuesday thanks in part to McNeill, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 23 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Burks, who posted six points in addition to five assists and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.

Northside Christian Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. As for Southside Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside Christian Academy will host Gilbert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southside Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest at 7:30 p.m. First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.4 points per game this season.
