Basketball Game Preview: Vandebilt Catholic Terriers vs. Lutcher Bulldogs

The Vandebilt Catholic Terriers will head out to face off against the Lutcher Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Vandebilt Catholic is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering John Curtis Christian just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.

Meanwhile, Lutcher didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Assumption on Friday, but they still walked away with a 63-57 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Lutcher has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-18 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Vandebilt Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 19-8.

Vandebilt Catholic took their victory against Lutcher when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 68-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vandebilt Catholic since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
