Hilltop hadn't done well against Ayersville recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Hilltop Cadets came out on top against the Ayersville Pilots by a score of 43-34. The Cadets' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Despite the loss, Ayersville still got an impressive performance from Kendra Waldron, who went 5 of 11 en route to 12 points along with six boards and three steals. Waldron has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendyl Booher, who posted three points and 12 rebounds.

Hilltop pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ayersville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Hilltop will venture away from home to square off against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd. As for Ayersville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-37 defeat against Fairview on the 2nd.
