Volleyball Recap: Cedar Creek Comes Up Short

Cedar Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Rudder Rangers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18.

Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Rudder, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Cedar Creek will square off against Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rudder, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Fort Bend Clements on the 22nd.
