Baseball Recap: Crittenden County Comes Up Short

Crittenden County lost against Webster County back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rockets fell 6-2 to the Trojans. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crittenden County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Summers, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base. Summers has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Crittenden County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16-1. As for Webster County, they pushed their record up to 16-12 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Crittenden County will challenge Fort Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Webster County, they will square off against Ohio County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
