Soccer Recap: Christian Takes Down Mountain Empire in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Christian rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Mountain Empire Redhawks 4-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Patriots considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Mountain Empire with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Steven Benson (2), Soren Lucey, and Bryce Gaut.

Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four games. Mountain Empire's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Coming up, Christian will venture away from home to square off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Empire does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
