Basketball Recap: Horizon Scorpions vs. Bel Air Highlanders

Horizon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost to the Bel Air Highlanders at home by a 57-40 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scorpions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-41 back in January.

Matt Hernandez continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bel Air, going 6 of 9 en route to 17 points. Marcos Garcia was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Horizon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Bel Air, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-15.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Parkland the next time they take the court. Bel Air will host Parkland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Horizon will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
