Soccer Game Preview: Loris vs. Georgetown

The Loris Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Georgetown Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Loris will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Aynor, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Loris' defense stepped up to hand Aynor a 1-0 shutout on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won three games in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Georgetown, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They beat Timberland by a goal, winning 1-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with Wolves: they've now won four in a row.

Loris now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Georgetown, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Loris beat Georgetown by a goal in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 2-1. Will Loris repeat their success, or does Georgetown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
