Hillgrove entered their tilt with South Cobb on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the South Cobb Eagles 68-19. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Amaya Harris went supernova for Hillgrove, going 5 of 8 on her way to 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Harris is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Kierra Jackson was another key player, putting up seven points.

Hillgrove smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 24 consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, South Cobb saw an underclassman step up: freshman Stephanie Aguirre posted ten points.

Hillgrove is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.4 points. As for South Cobb, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hillgrove will look to defend their home court on Friday against Campbell at 6:00 p.m. Campbell will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Hillgrove surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Cobb, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the South Cobb Eagles face off against the Pebblebrook Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
