Pilot Point lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Howe, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's contest. The Bearcats claimed a resounding 61-13 victory over the Bulldogs. The Bearcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pilot Point to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden David, who rushed for 91 yards and two scores on only nine carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Chumley, who rushed for 81 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pilot Point was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 328 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Howe only rushed for 155.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of David Pickrel, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Although Howe took the loss, they still got scores from Knox Bounds and Riken Cross.

Pilot Point's record is now 3-1. As for Howe, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Pilot Point didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 55-7 win against Madison on the 26th. As for Howe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 62-21 victory against S & S Consolidated on the 26th.
