Volleyball Recap: Ponder Comes Up Short

Ponder saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Poteet Pirates by a score of 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennedy Simon paced Ponder's offense, picking up 20 kills. Simon got some help from Zoe Dishman and her 30 assists.

Ponder now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Poteet, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Ponder has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Brewer on the 19th. As for Poteet, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent on the 16th.
