            Mitchell is 0-3 against Erwin since March of 2019 but things could change  on Friday. Mitchell will host Erwin  at 5:00  p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Mitchell and Draughn had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Mitchell came up short against  Draughn on Thursday, falling  19-7.
  Zaiden Ayers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Olivia Ollis was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile,  after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, Erwin finally came back down to earth  on Wednesday. They lost  11-0 to McDowell. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 Erwin's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Mitchell, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Friday's   game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mitchell hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .345. However, it's not like Erwin struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .352. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
