In Thursday's Canine Competition, Ranchview prevailed. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the North Dallas Bulldogs 57-6. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.

Rushil Allada was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 302 yards and five TDs while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in August of 2024. Ranchview's leading receiver Devin Scott was Allada's top target yet again, picking up 111 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Ranchview's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Christopher Williams, Lamaj Waters, and Armaan Khoshnoudi, who each picked up one sack apiece. Ranchview got some further help from Williams: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made eight total tackles.

The win got Ranchview back to even at 1-1. As for North Dallas, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Ranchview will take on Krum at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for North Dallas, they will face off against Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. The match will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
