The Prosser Falcons will face off against the Intrinsic Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Prosser couldn't beat ITW David Speer Academy on Tuesday even though they stacked nine runs on them in the third inning. The Falcons took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pride. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jeremy Del Rio stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. He has become a key player for Prosser: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least three RBI, but 5-6 otherwise. Kajarrie Walker was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Intrinsic got the win against Bulls College Prep on Tuesday by a conclusive 20-9. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by ten runs or more this season.
Adrian Benitez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, earning two RBI and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Intrinsic got a massive performance out of Marco Rodriguez, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave Rodriguez a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Angel Munoz, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases and four runs.
Intrinsic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Intrinsic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Prosser, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Prosser has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .591. However, it's not like Intrinsic struggles in that department as they've averaged .580. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Prosser took their win against Intrinsic in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 23-5 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
