Softball Recap: Greenville Takes a Loss

The Greenville Red Raiders came up short against the Nation Ford Falcons on Monday, falling 11-1. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Greenville now has a losing record of 11-12-1. As for Nation Ford, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville will venture away from home to square off against Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nation Ford, they will head out to face off against Woodmont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
