Basketball Recap: Branford Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Branford Hornets came up short against the Morgan Huskies and fell 63-50.

Sadie Passante continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Morgan, going 6-for-15 on her way to 30 points along with five assists and five steals. The matchup was Passante's 11th in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Teuner, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Branford now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Morgan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-4.

Looking ahead, Branford will head out to take on Shelton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morgan, they will face off against East Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
