Blake Moore turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Friday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.6 strikeouts per game.

Looking ahead, Moore and California City will welcome Rosamond at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. California City has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
