Basketball Recap: Challis Skates Past Watersprings with Ease

Challis's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 55-17 victory over Watersprings. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 26 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Watersprings saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caroline Combs posted seven points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson David, who earned two points.

Challis now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Watersprings, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Challis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-32 defeat against Butte County on the 21st. As for Watersprings, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 33-14 win against American Heritage on the 17th.
