Volleyball Recap: Marion H Comes Up Short

Marion H was the 2-1 winner over Kingdom Christian when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Marion H sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 22-25, 25-17.

Kingdom Christian can attribute much of their success to Evie Oglesby, who had 15 kills and two aces. Those 15 kills gave Oglesby a new career-high.

Marion H's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Kingdom Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marion H is set to take on their familiar foe Kingsway Christian at 3:30 p.m. on September 20. Meanwhile, Kingdom Christian will face off against rival Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
