NSU University won the last time they faced Community School of Naples and things went their way on Thursday too. The NSU University Sharks blew past the Community School of Naples Seahawks 8-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Aidan Jacobs looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.

At the plate, Griffin Pomper and Bradyn Potter did most of the damage at the plate: Pomper scored a run while going 4-for-4, while Potter scored three runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, Pomper posted four hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Rosa, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

NSU University's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Community School of Naples, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

NSU University has already played their next matchup, an 11-5 victory against True North Classical Academy on the 14th. As for Community School of Naples, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 win against Newberry on the 20th.
