Watertown came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 58-29 win over the Arlington Catholic Cougars. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Cougars are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Watertown's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Arlington Catholic, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
