Baseball Game Preview: Alma Airedales vs. Siloam Springs Panthers

For the second straight game, Alma will face off against Siloam Springs. The Airedales will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Alma has five straight victories, Siloam Springs has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Alma is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Siloam Springs 16-9 on Monday. While the Airedales didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

For Siloam Springs' part, Jacob Davis made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Braxton Majors was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Siloam Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Alma, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-3.
