Woods Cross waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 14 straight wins... but they left with 15. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Skyline Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

While Woods Cross won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 27-25, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Sitoafa Tausinga and Avery Poulton, who picked up 17 kills apiece. They got some help from Zamari Christensen and her 44 assists. Alisi Tapaatoutai controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Woods Cross' win bumped their record up to 25-1. As for Skyline, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-5.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Woods Cross and Bountiful will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skyline, they will venture away from home to face off against Skyridge at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
