Greenbrier took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against White House-Heritage, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Patriots 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bobcats have posted since October 7, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (101-99) Greenbrier actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 10-25, 22-25, 25-16, 25-20, 17-15.

With the victory, Greenbrier broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. As for White House-Heritage, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
