Basketball Recap: Grosse Ile Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-40, which was the final score in the Grosse Ile Red Devils's tilt against the Summerfield Bulldogs on Thursday. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grosse Ile's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Summerfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grosse Ile will host Cabrini at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cabrini will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Grosse Ile surely won't give up without a fight. As for Summerfield, they will welcome Lenawee Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
