Basketball Recap: Forge Christian Wins Going Away Against Heritage Christian

Forge Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 81-62 victory over the Heritage Christian Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fury.

Levi Clark went supernova, dropping a double-double with 34 points and 12 rebounds. Those 34 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Treysen Eye, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards.

Forge Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They racked up eight more assists than Heritage Christian's also-impressive total of 16.

Despite the loss, Heritage Christian still got an impressive performance from Guede Wade, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Nevarez, who shot 55% from the field en route to 17 points and three blocks.

Forge Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Heritage Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Forge Christian has already played their next matchup, a 52-46 victory against Fort Morgan on the 6th. As for Heritage Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-32 defeat against Wiggins on the 6th.
