Soccer Recap: Corona del Mar Comes Up Short

Corona del Mar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Los Alamitos Griffins. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Sea Kings couldn't quite close it out.

Corona del Mar's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Los Alamitos, their record now sits at 5-8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corona del Mar will host Huntington Beach at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Los Alamitos, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marina at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
