Basketball Recap: Haverling Comes Up Short

Haverling suffered their biggest loss since December 11, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 66-40 to the Hornell Red Raiders. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Haverling now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Hornell, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haverling will take on Corning-Painted Post at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hornell, they will challenge Wellsville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Hornell's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
