Baseball Recap: Grissom Takes a Loss

Grissom fell victim to Buckhorn and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Bucks, falling 16-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bucks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

The loss snapped Grissom's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 17-8 record. As for Buckhorn, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-11.

Grissom didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Sparkman on the 3rd. As for Buckhorn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-5 defeat against Bob Jones on the 29th.
