Sandalwood has gone a perfect 9-0 against Riverside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Saints will be playing at home against the Generals at 6:30 p.m. The last three games Sandalwood has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Wednesday, Sandalwood sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Oakleaf.

Trey Dennis and Noah Salazar did most of the damage at the plate: Dennis scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Salazar scored a run while going 1-for-1. Parker Shuman was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Sandalwood hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oakleaf struck out 11 times.

Meanwhile, Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against Wolfson, falling 18-3.

Theodore Whittle made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Sandalwood's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-17.

Everything went Sandalwood's way against Riverside when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Sandalwood made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
