Volleyball Recap: Jones County Takes a Loss

Jones County lost against Locust Grove back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Greyhounds fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Jones County was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly three points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22.

Jones County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Locust Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1.

Looking ahead, Jones County will be playing in front of their home fans against Veterans on Saturday. Locust Grove has already played their next match (against Hampton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
