Recap: La Salette Academy Lions vs. Assumption Academy
The La Salette Academy Lions entered their tilt with Assumption Academy with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. La Salette Academy strolled past Assumption Academy with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 51-33. For La Salette Academy, this counts as revenge for the 40-31 loss Assumption Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
La Salette Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Elijah Hall, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Charles Prather was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
La Salette Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Assumption Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. La Salette Academy will face off against Milford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Milford is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Assumption Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Summit Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
