Hawaiian Mission Academy triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Shynastee Ahina

Recap: Hawaiian Mission Academy Knights vs. Punahou Buff n' Blue
On Tuesday, the Hawaiian Mission Academy Knights faced the Punahou Buff n' Blue in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Hawaiian Mission Academy took down Punahou 43-29. The team ran away with 31 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
It was another big night for Shynastee Ahina, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Hawaiian Mission Academy's points.
The victory (which was Hawaiian Mission Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2. As for Punahou, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.
Hawaiian Mission Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against La Pietra at 6:00 p.m. on December 13th. Punahou will be home for the holidays to greet 'Iolani at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
