Volleyball Game Preview: Kecoughtan Warriors vs. Menchville Monarchs + How To Watch

Kecoughtan is 2-8 against Menchville since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Warriors will host the Monarchs at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Kecoughtan's win against Hampton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Crabbers on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Crabbers: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Menchville made easy work of Heritage on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The win got Kecoughtan back to even at 6-6. As for Menchville, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Kecoughtan might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Menchville when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
